Canadian Shingles are ideal for use on a range of buildings, such as bus shelters, stables, sports pavilions, beach huts, chalets, summerhouses, etc.
They can also be used for vertical cladding on houses and flats. These roofing shingles are suitable for use on any building with a roof pitch from 20° to vertical, whether temporary or permanent, domestic or commercial.

Tabs
Tabs - 135mm to the weather with a fixed headlap of 50mm. If greater headlap required for sites of severe exposure use Square Butt type only.
Suitable Decking
The following decking materials are suitable for the fixing of roofing shingles: - Exterior ) Grade plywood (18mm) OSB 3 Conditioned Boarding (18mm), Tongue and groove timber
boarding (18mm), Plain edge timber boarding (25mm). The release sheet must be removed from the back of the shingles.
Nails
Nails - 25mm above cut-outs and 25mm in from ends of shingles. Preferably cover each nail head with a blob of Ruberoid Lap Mastic before
fixing next strip. Use 20mm Large Head Galvanised Clout Nails.
